If it’s a straight toss up between White and Godfrey there’s only one winner - Godfrey has been very poor in both games. JWP has been very impressive though, and wouldn’t surprise me if he went as there’s a lack of midfielders.

Mings is absolutely dire and should not be near this squad.

It’s a fringe team with probably only 2 starters for next week but not been great so far.

Commentators just saying how poor Mings has been first half. Seems they share our thought.

He hasn’t had a great season. He’s been overshadowed by another Englishman at Villa as well as being outshone by at least another half dozen Englishmen from other teams.

I get that he has some leadership skills, I get that he is intelligent and comes across very well in a post match interviews but he is just an average EPL defender, against a team like France, we’ve got no chance with him in the team.

White looks like a Rolls Royce compared to Mings who is like a Sinclair C5....

I think it’s a choice between Ben and JWP. Depending on how Southgate wants his squad.

I said a while ago on here that Mings is the worst player I’ve seen play for England in the last 30 years. A few people disagreed but I don’t know how. The fact he is anywhere near the squad, let alone playing, is an absolute travesty.
