If true, this is good news. Will increase the competition, and therefore price we'll get, and frankly I'd prefer him to go to a top team rather than Arsenal.

So Everton have moved straight in to tell Brighton that they will pay the guaranteed money they are looking for, and are now attempting to put together bonus packages to try to get the deal secured.

We’ll be slighter weaker without him as whoever comes in won’t be as good, but not materially………agree we can cope without, particularly if £50m+ is incoming.

Exactly the same as the silly Leeds fans last summer. They don’t comprehend how buying and selling works. We have an asset we’ve developed and invested in on a 4 year contract. We hold all the cards. If we want to stall and wait to see what other buyers come forward that’s entirely our right.
It’s not our job to agree a good deal for Arsenal. Bring on City and Liverpool with their bids.

Would much rather he went to City than Arsenal tbf though. They were linked before.
Some Gooners in their thread seem to think that the Albion are now creating rumours about rival bids to extract more cash out of them.
