Arsenal far too superior for us, we were never going to get a result today. Their form is terrific. And we are always susceptible to exactly the sort of thing that lead to their goal, brilliant as it was. That’s the difference between winners and also rans.

It’s funny what you can get away with under how the laws of the game are interpreted. Saka is never trying to win the ball and deliberately bumps into him to make him miss the header. It is clever from Saka (particularly as he hid behind Mitoma as the ball was played over the top) but I do not like cynical play like this.

Am I bring really dumb. From the replay I just saw, Saka looked offside.
I think that what Dunk was thinking. But looks onside at the ball was kicked- half an hour before it reached him! 38 seconds in

They’re further forward in their team development but we’re not doing too badly all things considered

Annoying one f.uck up costs us. Said at the start of the season Dunks decline would start this season. With not a proper pre season hasn’t looked his old self. Need to Nick a point somehow here. Might aswell go attack attack 2nd half after 60 mins if still 1-0

That’s a bit harsh IMO, mistakes happen in every game. Be a boring sport if not. And was an exceptional finish. Arsenal just better than us, and showing that. We knew this before the match, hopeful as we were going into / maybe still are at HT. But can’t see them conceding, they seem impregnable in their current form.

Works both ways, Mitoma practically wiped him out earlier, not even a card.

I agree, a one nil defeat away to Champions elect in such good form ain’t bad at all. Hopefully we can nick something but I can’t see it - they’re too defensively strong.
