Thank you for posting this, and providing some clear evidence. You've changed my mind. That said, I don't fully agree that it's 'his to claim' but I would agree that if he goes for it, he's got to get to it and if he can't get to it, he shouldn't go for it. If he didn't, he might have had a better chance of getting in a position to save Jesus' header.

By “claim” I meant it looks like there wasn’t a clear shout that he was coming for it which is why JPVH went for the header.
