Sadly could be 2 or 3 departures in the summer from some of our regular players. At the end of the day if they wanna go they’ll leave. Their agents will be chirping away in their ears telling them they can get double or triple the amount of money elsewhere (plus a huge fee for the agent which is their only motivation). I just hope if they go they go to City or one of the big teams in Europe. Going to somewhere like Spurs would feel like a real kick in the teeth when in terms of quality of the teams there isn’t much in it at the moment. I suppose you can’t blame a player for wanting to double their wages who wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to do the same job for twice as much.
If we make Europe lets hope we can hang on to them - we'll need them in fact we'll need more in the squad as I believe WHU have found out this season/

On the train home. 'king hell, what a second half performance. Absolutely outstanding.
I watched a stream, which was a bit flaky.

Any idea why we got better as the game went on? Was it that RDZ worked them out and changed the tactics a bit?

Roberto de Zerbi speaking to Sky Sports:

"I'm pleased for the performance. It was a tough game and today was more difficult because on Monday we lost an incredible game."

"I'm really proud that my players showed our style and we showed character. Without this part of football, you can play well and score goals but without patience and mentality you won't reach your targets."

"We are working to become a big team. We are not a big team yet but if you want to compete with a big team like Arsenal and qualify for Europe, we have to progress our mentality."

"The players are the most important thing. I'm lucky to have players at this level. I'm working to give them my ideas and mentality but without good players you can't achieve these results."

"We will lose some players, maybe Caicedo or maybe Mac Allister. We need to bring in some other good players. For Mitoma and Estupinan, they need to stay with us I don't know if they are ready to play with big teams. You have to be ready in the head and we can offer them the chance to improve."

Absolutely brilliant.

So so so happy with that. All the Gooners on the train home are taking the ribbing well.

Looking back at all the experts' chatter before the game, and I have isolated the problem; The lads don't know what they can't do.
Indeed - hit the nail on the head there.
Cracking post - not sure where they got 8 from but helped us in the end eh 🤣
We did do quite a bit of delaying tactics - and there must have been a good three minutes for Enciso - including almost a whole minute for him walking off the wrong side of the pitch.
I watched a stream, which was a bit flaky.

Mitoma back on the left, growing understanding on the right, Arsenal demoralisation.
