My biggest frustration of the day was there was an opportunity to pass Palace and we never even laid a glove on Arsenal. If I’d been out there I’d have been coughing up lungs to cover every blade of glass and pass that Croydon lot. But that’s me as a supporter. The paid professionals have had a gruelling season with matches coming up much quicker than they’re used to. Can’t really blame them for easing off the gas. Shame but such is life.

Next year. We’ll have the buggers next year*

So far off from being a top ten team or even mid table

In a way, I'm pleased that this was our last game of the season and not the City game. Means I finish the season having seen hope for the future but also the reality that there's lots of work to do.

Now, can summer break out please?

Bringing Connolly on for Trossard took all the competition out of the game.

It was a decent first half. 2nd half was really bad.

Why did Potter make that sub? Was it to give Connolly one final chance to prove that he's a Premier League player?

It was strange. Zequiri came on against City and done well, so surely makes sense for him to come on again and build on that 'form' and confidence. It did feel like a 'pick a name out of a hat' type of substitution, I can only assume Potter thought he might be better option for counter attacking.

Today was always going to be tough. Arsenal are decent when they want to be, and with fans there they were always going putting in a decent performance.

Oh well. Flat end to a bizarre season, but still at the top table next time.

See you in August.

Your implied criticism was that he did nothing memorable. My reply was that he barely played to do anything memorable. Injured or overlooked, it's still hardly surprising.

9 times an EPL starter, 8 off the bench.

If it was implied, I now make it express, it wouldn’t surprise me if AC is moved on. He’s regressed, we could very rarely on him to show composure in general play or when presented with an opening.

Imho.

When the Albion match highlights are:-

1 - Bissouma's tackle #3
2 - Bissouma's tackle #1
3 - Bissouma's tackle #2

You know you've done well to only lose 2-0.

No disgrace losing to Arsenal.....its been a funny old season but we are still a Premier league team so on to next season. Potter has sown the seeds for a progression in league position while playing a good style of football. Will he be here next season?, will Bissouma? White be here? who knows but it is in safe hands with our wonderful supporter & chairman. Roll on next season & lets see if we can get a few more points than this season. In my opinion there will be a few comings and goings some will be for the better some the worse......exciting times.

Did Bissouma make it to the top of the EPL tackle league, though? We were cheering him on from our living room.
