Personally I don’t believe we are mentally strong enough. We are playing well because we have nothing to lose. If there was something on this game then we wouldn’t be anywhere near is confident.
It’s the fear factor ...

Agreed.
But we showed we can do it, and we have done it in the first half of the season.
Mentally we are far from strong enough, a very important part of the squad, maybe if we could improve in the mental strength and bring in a couple of top players with that mental ability, then we will do better next season.
It's all a confidence thing, losing quickly becomes a habit as does winning.

Caught a bit of this on the inventors of football channel in a pub. We looked good, no worse than Arsenal certainly, though their strikers are impressive. Their pen wasn't a pen. Play like that all season and we'll be top ten. Get in!

To be honest, we look better when the opposition don't take their chances. We fought hard and deserved the point, but on another day we'd lose. That's football.

But we had plenty as well

People had been suggesting that we were the replacement for Stoke and Arsenal taking two points from nine in their last three against us would seem to support this theory.

Well done lads. If only Florin had realised that he had support.

Lovely to see so many sad Arsenal faces. Slapped Arses, you could say. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Let's keep the momentum going for City.

Was it also andone who didn't square it right a few minutes earlier which would have meant a 1 on 1?

Yeah we did. But that's probably true of games against Southampton and Cardiff etc, with the difference being that they took their chances, and we've been poor in front of goal. Spurs only beat us by a wonder strike, I felt that Arsenal looked more like scoring, they just either fluffed their lines or faced another Dunk/Duffy wonder challenge.

The players deserved that.

Yes, except that he did square it but it was blocked.

Andone looked tired, despite only having been on for 10 minutes. Not sure what was up with him, maybe a bug or something?

We could and possibly should have won that in the end. We played as well as we have in months. I know the pressure was off but you have to give credit to Hughton and the team. But of course it does beg the question....

So we can play expansive attacking football... brilliant effort, and we could have done it if andone could have used his brain!

He did use his brain. Remember what happened against Spuds.

5 points above the drop zone with a game to play. Not so terrible after all.

A really good game. We were feisty. Liked it.
