Referee is a homer and has now cost Fletcher a place in the final - disgrace

What an absolute disgrace that is. Completely ruined what would have been the best day of his career. Apparently he can't appeal either.

Makes me so angry. It's so unjust.

Surely the sending off can be resindicated?

Clearly sent off in error!

Not fan of United or Arsenal, but the decision was pretty poor and not having the power to appeal is ludacris.

You could clearly see he got the ball and if the Referee cannot see that from 5 yards away then we have problems..

so he is a homer is he?

what are you talking about

What a f***ing joke that Fletcher sending off was. It just goes to show that even the very best ref's are capable of complete f*** up's. Why the hell is the appeal process so ridiculous?

i agree, when you have games that can reward millions of pounds that are viewed by dozens of cameras to broadcast around the world, they still want to rely on the angle of 3 refs at ground level to make a snap decision it just seems so ludacris.

f*** TV Replays, It would make the game so tedious and slow every card or free kick players would be calling and hounding the ref to check the decision

Goal line Technology -YES Card checking thingymobob- NO
