But perhaps it would help if the logo flashed up on the big screen/tv companies put an onscreen graphic on, to note every review, not just those that result in a pause at a break in play.

I think there should be a pretty girl holding a "VAR" sign who walks around the pitch to let the crowd know. A bit like they (used to?) do between rounds at boxing matches. If the VAR reviews come thick and fast, they'd have to jog around the pitch to keep up. Which is another benefit.

I was adamant he was out the box when I was watching on the BBC but they didn't even show a replay which I found a bit odd, especially when the commentators weren't sure if it was outside the box or not.
