On the official site it says we're playing a behind closed doors game against the Arsenal under 21's.
It's at the bottom of the Molango story.

What's going on here then?

Ooo hilarious, tears of laughter are running down my face.

I was just wondering whether this might be an opportunity for us to see some posible loan signings.

aaaah, I like your thinking!
There are enough Premeirship clubs in London and the South East that we should be looking at for borrowing some of their talented youth and reservists. So long as it's not another Barrett.

arsenal under 21's, how many of them are english?
surley they must have some......
they got one of the best youth set ups (spending millions) and does it give the cream of english talent a chance........NO

what is the point of setting it up, when all they do is build the dreams up of young talented footballers and then ship them out to glorious places like rotherham, burnley, hull and dare i say it, us?

i suppose ashley cole is the only exception

anyway, Liam Brady is always good for sending us players (GB apart) so maybe its a chance to sign another couple of players.

you always here of arsenal signing up 14/15 year olds, keeping them, building them up, and when they get to about 19/20 years old, what do they do...................

they go and buy an 18 year old dutch/french superstar who gets into the team ahead of them, meaning the english player doesnt even get on the bench and languishes in the reserve league

is it me or is that a waste of 4/5 years?

surley its not good for the english game, when the best of youth are only getting a run out in division 1, i mean championship.

Not strictly true

What about that Icelandic Under 21 midfield player we got (can't remember the name!) from the Arse

He was no better that Ashley Neal, I say no more :)

I hope something comes of it... we need to strengthen, especially in the middle of the park...

Arsenal having an eye for talent? I don't hink so!!! I heard yestreday they've signed Andy Ansah's 11 year old son.

Altough I don't like to critise players who are 100% committed, Andy wasn't the most gifted of players.

Do you think we'll get that French guy they've just signed? Surely he'll play in that game?

I remember Arsenal paying something like a million to sign Jermaine Pennant when he was 16, cos he was supposedly going to be The Most Amazing Young English Talent Ever In The History Of The World, Well Since Joe Cole Anyway.

A few mediocre displays for the England U21's and a couple of games for Arsenal in the Worthless Cup. He ended up on loan at Watford and Leeds.

Great.

In last year League Cup, didn't Arsenal play their Under 21's againgst another Premiership side and whip their arse's.
