Man Utd will win it mark my words. Arsenal are a bunch of girls with no real steel in the team. Two incompetent keepers in Fabianski and Alumunia. The GREAT VITO Mannone should be installed as number 1. Fabregas doesn't wanna be there. Walcott would be playing Championship if it wasn't for his pace. The younger players always look a bit too fatigued is that Wenger over-training them ???

If you didn't still have a strong affection towards United, I would have respected this comment

I agree if it's not Arsenal, United will win it. But I really believe it's Wengers year and with those odds of 13/2, it was worth the large stake I put on...

Harry Redknapp genuinely believes Spurs can finish above Arsenal this term. I personally think that's more likely to happen than Arsenal winning the league.

Almunia is a liability. Koscielny got sent off. No one knows how Fabregas's head will be after all the Barcelona speculation. Too many IFs and BUTs.

Koscielny did a job at the back, and was silly for the handball - showed his pace in denying Torres. Fabregas has publicly stated his loyalty to Arsenal for at least the season, and is such a class player he will be great again. Looks like Schwarzer could be joining, and Almunia has said he will leave if they bring in a new 'keeper

It's certainly interesting at Arsenal. They could do a Liverpool of 2 years ago and push for the title right until the wire, OR they do a, Liverpool of last season and drop out of the Top 4 altogether.

I'm a bigger Arsenal fan. I made the pilgrimage to the Emirates for a pre-season game. It was fantastic experience one which will live with me forever. So anyway I'm all kitted out at home, Arsenal shirt with Fabregas 4 on the back, on top of my Henleys t-shirt. Next I slip on my Fenchurch jeans and finally my Bench trainers. I look hip! Got the train to Victoria and deal with a few Lager shandys which were delightful. Anyway I sit down in my seat and the game kicks off. Theo overhits a few crosses but is greeted with encouragement by the Gooner favourites shouting 'f***ing Useless Walcott' and 'Same old shit from you Theo'. We take the lead through Vela and then Sagna, two top-drawer goals. To my suprise my parents got me a tour and a private chat with the great one Arsene Wenger at half-time. He was leering at me throughout :(. After my special treat I engaged in some half time BANTER with my fellow Gooners. 'We won the league in Manchester' and 'Arsenal x3' were incredible chants and nearly blew the top off the ground. It was a very memorable, but I'll unfourtunately have to go back to my 'armchair' fan status. You all know the type. Updating their facebooks as if they've been to the game, wearing a club jersey around a town nowhere near from where the club are based just to prove how loyal they are by not attempting to attend games. Their defence? Can't get tickets, too expensive to get there etc and this is very true in my case. I have friends who support lower league clubs and do not enjoy the success I do. How many trophies have they watched on the comfort of their sofa's? None. I just wish Arsene could rally the troops and guide us to our first trophy in six years. Having said that we've defended the Emirates Cup three times now, Barcelona can't even do that in the Champions League. Hello, hello, we're the Arsenal boys.

Didn't you used to support united Hseag?

Indeed Don. I believe the sanctimonious bastard supported both City and United until I beckoned him in the summer of 07 to a pre-season game against Fulham. Credit to the lad he stormed down to the game ( I won't mention his attire for legal reasons) and has loved it ever since. :albion2:

Their goalkeeping situation is just a joke (what's the betting because of a small amount of cash Arsenal don't get a new keeper, they could have had Given before City did but wouldn't meet Given's personal demands) and the Liverpool game was a microcosm of all that is not right with Arsenal, they pass the ball to death around the edge of the box but no penetrating pass inside the area to create a chance. It was only because of Reina's howler that they ultimately got a point against 7th placed 10 man Liverpool.

Also their sqaud is unbalanced, too many "lightweight" fancy dan players, Rosicky, Nasri, Arshavin, Walcott etc. (oppo managers know this too that is why they tell there players to get in amongst them, also with their overall lack of height I think they could concede a lot of goals from set pieces too) they could get rid of 2 of these players and squad wise it would make no difference and Wenger could use the dollar to buy steel to balance up the side (i.e. like a young Viera).

A great team to watch and it would be good for football if they won it, but they won't. I think Utd this season.

Drive by abusing
The Theo abuse sounds like the shit Glenn Murray was getting on saturday before the game had even kicked off.
Think if Arsene Wenger gets his head out his arse signs a decent g/k, another centre back & gets some decent cover for Song they could walk the league.
In fact i still believe if they hadn't lost Van Persie they would've won it last year.

I would bet on Arsenal to finish third. Don't think they've got enough to overtake Man Utd and I'm pretty sure no one will be able to stop Chelsea. Man City are a bit of an unknown but I don't think they'll have the consistancy to finish any higher than 4th.
