I have decided to drive from Maidstone to Lewes park the car there and then get the train into Brighton . I am thinking about getting back after the game as I need to be back in Maidstone by 7pm at the latest for a meal with her indoors

I suggest you stop off in Lewes and have a drink there before the game - easier getting back to Lewes too, trains less crowded and quicker journey.

The herd? that's all a bit 80's innit? I thought that firm were defunct. I remember you lot got battered by Brighton after a game at The Goldstone, and then again by the headhunters at Victoria. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the game Saturday, but I do think we will get beaten. Arsenal may not be doing brilliant in the Prem, but have some class players. I am worried our defence will be over run. But as others have said, tonight's game is more important in respect of the result.

BTW I am not being disrespectful, just a long ago memory (80s)

If you're coming from Kent in the car and like a good pint, Lewes is the place for you. Parking available across the town (signposted) and a free 5 minute train ride to the ground with your match ticket.
