[Albion] Arsenal fans in home stands

I'm not even remotely wound up or biting just carrying on the conversation.
All I have said is if we had won this thread wouldn't exist, if one or two were near us and been loud they were dealt with. Because we lost and I am a delayed 4 year account I am now Arsenal, followed by a tiny (small dicks) section of NSC.

f*** me, you have to live in Brighton now to support them. Jesus christ. No wonder the North stand can't sing in unison, they all hate each other for living in different places. Not sure why there are so many complaints about the East and West Coast train journeys cos everyone lives in Brighton apparantley.
It’s because of people like @Frankworthington who live up Blooms bum

Dozens if not hundreds of them scattered about. To be expected but some clearly don't understand the unwritten rules of sitting amongst home fans, I.e Keep a low profile and keep schtum. The 2 behind me who appeared after 30mins minus their 2 mates who failed to get in were your typical Blud and Fam types, gobbing off and making it obvious etc, when it was pointed out to maybe be a bit discreet and show a little respect one said, "I paid £365 for this ticket bro so I'm entitled to support my team", oh really pal? They were gone 90 seconds
I'm not even going to read the rest of the replies because they'll be full of poindexters reaching for 'balance' and saying its 'normal' and has to happen. but this was a disaster this evening. In the West stand Upper they were all over the place. It totally ruined it. The club has to get a grip, and have more confidence in itself. There were more Arsenal and half and halfers than actual Brighton fans.

They don't even have to be unpleasant but what are we? A tourist attraction. It was pathetic and the atmosphere was killed from the off.

The current system is ridiculous. I've had Brighton fans who want my season ticket in the two games I couldn't make it and between us we'd have to spend 60 extra quid, to make it happen.

Yet you can Wang it on the exchange and sell it to any old dickhead for face value. Its absolutely mental.

I could see it coming because Arsenal are the absolute mother of fairweather, wealthy fans. So they've got the cash and the casual disinterest to soak up tickets when they are doing well. That's where the club has to have more confidence. We're garnering a global fan base and our local season ticket holders need to be able to move tickets on to friends.

Christ that was annoying.

And don't start me on the football. Caicedo and Mac make this team work. Caicedo more than anything else. Gilmour is MILES away on comparison.

Only good parts were the subs and the impact they have and the normally placid woman in front of me tearing into our Arsenal neighbours to the horror of her teenage daughter. I was 100% #teamangrybrightonmum

They like to gang up like school kids Lenny, it’s pathetic. It’s always been the same, same names over and over again. Groundhog Day

Fans from different countries managed to mingle at games without punching each other at the World Cup. Are we so backward here people feel threatened by others who happen to support the team we are playing?
From first hand experience, the atmosphere at the World Cup was shit. So I wouldn’t use that as a good example of the way we want football to go.

Was always going to happen. 5.30ko time on NYE, loads of s.t. holders who can't make the game put their tickets on the exchange, arsenal tickets like gold dust given their league form and position.
Nothing much to discuss - move on!
Always likely to happen but loads to discuss! How servile can you be? It's such a pathetic small-time attitude.

There ate plenty of customers for albion tickets if the club want to try and find ways. Or just have customer numbers.

I put my tickets on the exchange ... due to covid ... so I am likely to be one of many who has contributed to this.

There's no problem with it, but yeh, they should be keeping their mouth's shut
There is a problem with it! If you could transfer your tickets easily would you have a brighton fan you can give it to? I almost feel supporters clubs and sites like this should take it out of the clubs hands.

Remember, the man who invented this shower of shit ticket system is Mr OBE commercial slimeball himself. The day he came to the club, we became customers

How much?

Hahaha. Probably did off some tout. Serves him right. What a knob.
There are a couple of websites that always have tickets for sale in the home areas at the Amex, at those sort of prices, I guess they know how to get around the rules.

Caught in a Riptide
3 ejected in east lower after celebrating second goal. they were sat for the whole game to that point (in the front row) wearing arsenal scarves right bang in front of a steward. f***ing useless.

only the reaction of surrounding home fans that forced stewards to act.

I saw a couple, probably the East stand lower ejections referred to earlier. Irritating but small beer. Much more positive is the influx of Japanese fans who seemed to be everywhere in the East Stand, must have been up to a dozen separate groupings around my area. Today must have been almost like a win for them, they even saw the compatriot Arsenal full back come on and struggle to mark our MOTM

Boo f***ing hoo, no-one forced you to come on the thread, dry your eyes sweetheart.
Yet it appears you are the one who needs to dry your eyes. Boohoo there is an Arsenal fan near me, I'll tell NSC. Not sure using the word sweetheart as a derogatory term is acceptable. Keep on racking them up.

They were gone 90 seconds later, pricks.
Disgraceful. Hope there were some who got dogs abuse. f***ing ****s. Deserve a slap for that. If you were someone who sold your ticketd to one of these scrotes who cant speak English, shame on you.

If 4 Arsenal fans directly in front of you stand up when they score and give it the celebratory large one ......do you

A/ Scream for a steward
B/ Throw your spare bottle top furiously at the largest one ( take out the Alpha first )
C/ Accidently slap one of them in the privates
D/ Congratulate them on the goal
E/ Play your German Card - Turn around to look at the replay on the big screen and pretend you saw nothing
F/ something else

Answers may vary dependant on what gender the Arsenal fan is.
( gender should not be presumed )

If they're giving it large - report them to a steward - if not then I have no issue with it ( i have stood in home ends, for our away games, on several occasions).

Personally I didn't notice any (N1C) The thing i did notice were dozens of Japanese fans supporting us/Mitoma.
Sure, it's a bit touristy, but I quite liked it.
