If it becomes a midday Sunday game they should triple the loyalty points on offer.

Such a crap time for everyone players and fans alike. Arse.

Think engineering work may come into play if a midday Sunday KO

Quite often the non televised game on a Sunday kicks off at 2pm

True. Would much prefer that, but then I don't suppose it overly matters in the great scheme of things. 12 / 12.30 just feels so EARLY for football, the atmosphere is always extra flat.

Is the engineering only between Hove-Brighton-Lewes- Haywards Heath.

Is everything north of Haywards Heath okay on the Sunday.

I put this up a while back :

Just for info, current railway engineering plans :

Saturday and Sunday - no trains between Seaford and Lewes (otherwise normal)

Sunday - buses between Brighton/Lewes and Three Bridges until 9.30am (Brighton trains diverted via Littlehampton - I will almost GUARANTEE that the overnight engineering work will over-run though)

I'm in London for that weekend so it would be nice and convenient to get to see an away game, especially as it might just slip down to the members' tier. But work commitments and budget make it a tough decision between this fixture or going to the last game against City the following week. Choices, choices...

I bit the bullet, went for it and nabbed the last ticket for Block 23.

Still around 60 seats remaining, with members on >65 LP able to buy them now.

*May* return my ticket for refund if it is switched to the Sunday, especially if it's a late afternoon kick off.

Saturday beers and Crawley v Tranmere would seem more appealing - budget dictates it is either/or - rather than a sedate 'quiet one' on Sunday and hauling myself up to Ashburton Grove.

We'll see, losing v Cardiff might make this game more vital.

Is it going to be a bit like last year at City?

They had a 'love in' with Yaya retiring and this year Arsenal will be saying goodbye to Ramsey with possibly his last game at the Emirates (possibly the following Thurs in Europa semi!)

Just realised that the Monday after the Arsenal game is a Bank Holiday

So Sunday can be a football drinking festival as well. :drink:

Saturday or Sunday - bring it on.

What a day it'll be if it gives us the bank holiday weekend point we need to stay up.

This could be our "We are staying up, say we are staying up" party!

With Chelsea and Arsenal both playing at home on a Sunday, will they kick off at the same time or will the Met police try and ensure kick off times don’t clash, one at 12pm and one at 4pm?
