By the same token, should white people not be offended by terms such as "******" or "paki" then?
No such person m8 .. it's a program, assumed all knew that

If you was a gaylord then you may get offended, but straight people should not be offended by these cock sucking comments etc etc.
There is a line where "banter" becomes abuse. Do you think it's acceptable when it's
a) in front of kids and b) scares them ?
Not convinced it was a small minority singing the aids songs..
I genuinely feel bad for the Millwall fans who are not among the small minority of idiots.
It never takes long for people to show up with this attitude. Any time people complain of homophobic abuse people seem to make an assumption it's those chants. 99% of the time, it has nothing to do with them and is about actual homophobic abuse.

If they are not offended then they are equally at fault.By the same token, should white people not be offended by terms such as "******" or "paki" then?
Its not fishing its facts,to many sissy's out there who need to man up as most of us get these comments at work while pi$$ing around.Yes im sorry kids have to hear this, but you will find foul language is everywhere and football is top of the list when it comes to that.I can't tell if you're trying (and failing) to be funny/fishing, or if you seriously think something as pathetic and naive as that.

If you're not gay then why should you be offended, its like someone calling me a black cu*nt even though im white. We can see you holding fans?
Surely not? It's hands isn't it?
And Sir Albion - why can't straight people be offended by homophobic abuse? If you had a black friend, wouldn't you be offended if someone was shouting racist abuse at him?

Its not my fault your a prude, grow a backbone like the rest of the soppy gits who can't handle a bit of gay talk thrown at them.People must have really dire lifes if they actually get offended by these comments.
Where did i say a child has to man-up?read againPlease explain how a child is expected to "man up", it's about standards of behaviour - which part of that is SO difficult to understand?

Oh good. As if this subject hasn't been debated ad infinitum before, has it?
"It's just banter"
"it's no longer acceptable and there are laws against it"
"this country is going to the dogs"
"you're a dinosaur. This is the 21st century"
"you're making football sterile. It's a working man's game. The language should reflect that"
"it's a family game now"
I think that sums up the debate quite nicely. Have I missed anything?
