Yes i would normally agree but were your at pikeyville on tuesday?

Admittedly, no. But when is it ever a good idea to write players off after 2 games? Seriously. It's nothing short of stupid. Michel Kuipers didn't start his Albion career overly well either... but he's turned out alright!

He started for us against Gillingham the other night.
He was utter shite.
You have seriously wasted a right old load of money there mate.

What I think BI meant is that it is a little early to tell, has only just come back from injury so we have not seen much of him ourselves. If anyone will get him up to scratch though it will be Gus as a few seem to believe he hasn't got what it takes but come back in a few weeks & he will probably be a folk hero.

Better, but still looked like a deeply average player, and the idea of paying £3,000,000 for him is still laughable!

Under your skin.
If he is worth £3 mil than super Alan is worth £15 million and a decent sell on clause.

He looks very off the pace. At first I put it down to a lack of match fitness but now it just seems he can't adjust to the pace of english football.

That's what we're all worried about really, hopefully he'll get used to it quickly though... looks like we'll either give him another season on loan or sell him for whatever we can get in the summer  Guess it's important for us to take more risks with these foreign players though, it works well for wigan; seems we just can't pick 'em.

He didnt look up to it today... but then ill admit i like most was far from pleased with Navarro for a long while, and now think he's a cracking player. Hopefully if he does stay (on loan next season) he'll improve in a similar manner.

What I believe SS meant I meant was that I am delighted that Diego is (only) on loan at the Albion. Whilst I accept he may only have recently come back from injury, Gus had decided by half time today that enough was enough and this kid is not up to League One standard. I rather doubt we will see him next week.

It is possible that Diego may in time be a folk hero. However, I rather doubt he will be remembered for his services to English football.

BTW - can't say I'm thrilled by the abbreviation BI - not in this town!

Definitely deserved to be subbed at half time and once again we looked much better with navarro on the pitch, he was better, but he'd struggle to sink lower after tuesdays 'performance'
