If you're on a meter, having a dump costs you the price of a cistern full of water and also the price to treat that same volume of water in the sewage works. Even more reason to drop your turds on work hours.

Just in case its fully removed, and NSC members may not have this 'news' (who knows what impact not knowing could have!).
Even if its not important to individuals, you cant deny it, its a great read.

A couple from Brighton travelled up to London yesterday hoping to get a glimpse of the Royal baby.
Kizzi Hudson-Roberts and Chris McComb travelled from Brighton yesterday morning but missed the excitement by a few minutes.
Having watched television footage the night before, the euphoria in the capital made them make the trip and they took their baby son Mason, just seven weeks old.

Ms Hudson-Roberts said: "We went to Buckingham Palace and queued up to see the notice.
"We hoped we'd get here on time."
She thought it was "brilliant" that William drove his wife and baby home, and Mr McComb agreed, saying: "That's tradition, to drive the lady home."
With the "Great Kate Wait" now over, the cramped press pens outside the Lindo Wing have started to become more sparse and journalists are preparing to leave.

Actually it needn't cost you anything. Unlike electricity or gas, your water supply can't be cut off and any debt to the water company is a straightforward commercial debt rather than a statutory debt, meaning if you don't pay it there is very little they can do about it.

Could possibly explain the ludicrous prices they charge, as those who do pay their bills subsidise all those who never will

There's been absolutely no coverage on the television or in the papers, no wonder they missed it!!!!

Day to day world-wide news stories could have been put on hold for a bit for this historic news surely.
