I see on Page 2 of today's Argus with the picture of the stadium that they say it will be open next year ready for the 2010/2011 season.
Do they know something or are they just wrong yet again. The first match will be August 2011 at the start of the 2011/2012 season

They also said Navarro would be our eighth signing

Smith
Tunnicliffe
J. Wright
M.Wright
Thornhill
Crofts
Dicker
Dickinson

Perhaps they didn't include dicker because he was with us last year?

Then he also missed out Gary Hart and Andy Whing. Didn't they sign new contracts, too?

Yes, but they are not new singings, are they. They are staying with the club, hence the reason why you don't hear 'Whing signs for the Albion,'

Dicker and Thornhill were never signed FOR the club, hence the fact that they are new.

Perhaps they know something we dont? (we can dream) I still reckon the stadium is going to be finished quite some time before the end of our final season at the withdean though

I think it always was, but DK said we were not going to move in half way through a season, plus a few events need to be held to get the relevant safety certificates.

August 2011 it is then! :)

I understand what you're saying, but feel the need to point out we did hear "whing signs for the albion" because there was a delay in him signing a new contract.

Which, really, is false, because he has only extended his original contract. Still, it does sound better :lolol:
