It would be a good move for him to be honest.

It was a desperation signing at the time, but as we have seen we are now able to pull in a higher calibre of player.

Are you Glad Ulloa that Ulloa is staying?

Very glad Ulloa is staying. We'll need to improve his contract soon though !

I've heard that Southampton are wanting the vast majority of Sharp's wages to be covered by the loan club, so that may rule him out here.

and Vaz Te wanted to earn more than he does at West Ham. Presumably Norwich couldnt/wouldnt oblige.

My money would be on someone like Harry Kane from Spurs

How many goals has Wilbraham scored for Palace over the last 6 months?

If we are looking for a decent impact striker on loan we could do a lot worse than Kevin Phillips. He could also bring a lot to the training ground and the dressing room.

Tbh would like to see barker playing off ulloa, worth a try anyway

I agree it's worth a try, Barker has consistently scored throughout his career to date. However, it is something that should be worked on in training - if we go that route then we need to assimilate Barker as best as possible over the next two weeks. But he has pace, good feet and clearly has an eye for goal, which is essentially the striker profile we're looking for to buzz around in the space off Ulloa...

Point is it is short term and cover. Not really too concerned with who it is but more that they should have the right attitude and some ability. The fact that we have not bought anybody suggests to be we are looking to play reasonable wages. A proven 'old hand' would fit the bill but where is he ?

He's plays like Heskey but only better- did you not hear the chants of "he's just to good for you on Saturday!?"
