Ma Potters is nice - The Marina. Nothing fancy, but they do a nice steak.

had a bottle of wine left over from a works christmas party and we tried to leave with it as it was already paid for, they wouldnt let us as they said they didnt have a licence for alcohol to leave the premesis, so my mate put it under his coat and the manager saw, shouted and banned us

Pev, I noticed fom your list you missed out Relax Eat Drink in Worthing. If you ever get out this way then I recommend you try this place. This offer for a fiver lunch would be well worth it.

Isn't la marinade meant to be quite nice? I've not been myself but I'm sure someone once told me it was good. Might be confusing it with somewhere else though.

ANYWAY, Latin in the Lanes is over-rated in my opinion but is, at least, different to the usual Italian restaurant stuff.

I enjoyed the Bali Brasserie when I went but it wasn't especially expensive anyway so I wouldn't go out of my way to use the vouchers on it. It's only a buffet after all!

Al Forno's is alright (East Street), Al Duomo's was my favourite untill they 'did it up' now it's like every other restaurant in Brighton.
