why cant the ladies play all of their home games at Lancing? It must have a large enough capacity surely.
If you're talking the training centre, the answer is no - it doesn't have the capacity.
The ladies did play at Culver Road (FA), which now has an artificial pitch.
I was talking of The Centre of Excellence not Culver Rd as I was under the impression there are a number of pitches there.

Barcelona have a second stadium (15,00+ capacity) for their "reserve" and women's teams. Why shouldn't we.
Interesting speculation from one of the comments under the Argus’s ‘Albion Talking Point’ story.
- this may be linked to the 6000 seater stadium next to the Amex for the ladies team.’
We are increasing the capacity by building a second stadium ?
Yep all home games will be beam-backs, with piped stadium noise from The Amex for extra atmosphere!
Better still put the away fans there and introduce hologram technology...
6000!! I would have thought 600 would be more suitable.
How about a partnership with Whitehawk, I know they were interested in an extension on the Enclosed Ground some time back, would also benefit another Brighton club rather than just the Albion ladies, and I am sure would be easier to get planning than to build over the road from the Amex.

As an aside I watched a couple of games in the Womens African Cup on nations recently. I don't really know that much about football, but I could see that the standard of defending was woeful, attacking was hit and miss but set peice delivery was astonishingly good.
Sounds like a right bunch of pussies in defence. Not long term thinking. And luckily not a perspective shared by BHAFC
Have you not noticed how quickly this is growing over the last 2 - 3 years? There is a clear plan to promote and to grow the women's game (presumably based on the potential, already proven in the US) and it seems to be working. Lot's of investment going in, lots more media coverage. And more and more girls playing.
A long long way to go - but attendances and TV audiences rising year on year.
The powers that be at Brighton clearly decided it was a good bet to get in early, and let's face it, they do seem to know what they are doing. Even Man Utd jumping on the bandwagon now.
