Indeed! Those pages would not have remained unthumbed.

When in Riyadh the only female left uncensored in the British papers was the Scottish Widow insurance ad.

It is a shame to see it go but not surprising. I work at the British Library and we have a collection of trade catalogues. They are really good sources of information on what products were available at a certain time and what they cost. It is much harder to archive online shopping platforms than printed books.

Surprised it lasted this long tbh. Prob outstayed it's usefulness by a decade or more. Absurdly wasteful use of resources, albeit something of a printing masterclass

My elderly neighbour has just had Stannah stir lift installed. Apparently it’s driving her up the wall.
