What Germany showed in the first half against Sweden suggests that they may be a little better than their pre-tournament rating, although they did take their foot off the gas a little in the second half, but who could blame them as the job was already done. Agree about Argentina versus Germany, has classic written all over it (last time I made a bold statement like that was before the FA Cup Final, and I wasn't disappointed).

The interesting thing about the Germans is they know they are not half as good as pervious German teams but really do play with no fear of the opposition.

The Brighton Mexican community was in the Temple creating a great atmosphere. They were robbed!!!!

Speaking to many Mexicans back in California, I had more faith in their team to do well than they did, and predicted they'd get to the quarters. Only trouble was that they met the Argies early, but still gave them a good run for their money, and it took a brilliant goal to beat them.

Best match so far.
