Argentina - Tri-Nations or Six Nations.?

The opposition was woeful that year.

I'm fairly certain it was the same opposition as it was every year. Including the team that won the world cup just over a year beforehand.

Bring the six nations up to 10 nations by allowing in Romania, Argentina, Georgia and Portugal and have two divisions of 5 with one up and one down relegation.

A trip to barcelona to watch a bit of rugby would be a sound plan

If the IRB are to make rugby a proper global sport they need to expand the Tri-Nations.

I'd be aiming for a Southern Hemisphere 6 Nations of Australia, NZ, South Africa, Argentina, Japan and The Pacific Islanders (a sort of West Indies of rugby comprised of Fiji, Tonga and Samoan players).

I realise that Japan is in the Northern Hemisphere, but the point is really academic. To have 2 6-Nation competitons would be brilliant.

For starters, who said that the Argies would WANT to play in Spain, and for that matter, would the Spanish want the Argies to play there in the first place?

Gotta be kept northern and southern hemispheres!
