It looks like the lava is headed straight for the Blue Lagoon.

Which is kind of where you would expect a fissure to head for, it being a point where hot springs, heated from a magma chamber below, have broken the surface.

It's skirting around the northern side of it. The barrier is there to stop it, but as thew video is showing they left the roads open, and are frantically trying to close the gap. Luckily the lava is currently flowing in a narrow channel just past the gap, but as it slows, the lava flow may widen and thicken.

Looks like Mother Nature 1 Human Beings 0

Human's looked to take it to extra time - but a hopeless cause.

Bit like the overall position on global warming

The humans need Enciso to be available, even if only on the bench.

He'd unleash a thunderbastard at it, and stop it in its tracks.

As long as Roy isn't the manager and brings him on to get injured again just before said shot.
And the lava would slowly move forward with Roy and Parish deciding what to do as it slowly licked their toecaps.

I suspect it is unlikely that the Icelandic authorities would let Julio Enciso anywhere near a molten lava flow. And if he was allowed to kick a football vociferously in the direction of the lava, I'm afraid it would simply turn into a ball of fire on impact, regardless of how hard he puts his foot through it.

I also suspect his agent would advise against it.

I expect them to return with a fire extinguisher shortly - that'll stop it.
Absolute shambles. The place has gone downhill since Kerry Katona left.
