That band can FO for a start, they are genuinely not needed.

100% agree. English womens football has got a really good thing going here and doesn't need that bunch of freeloaders muscling in on the action and trashing the party.

The most literal case of 'bandwagoning' you'll ever see. :nono:

Come on the Lionesses and **** off the band.

What tournament did we lose to the USA in the final?

Lost to them in the 2018 She Believes Cup, but on a round robin format with 4 teams.

I wasn’t a fan. I remember when it genuinely was awful. It didn’t help that utter dickheads like that Chelsea nob head on Soccer Saturday just took the piss.
HOWEVER
The biggest changer for me is 2 things:
1. The standard has massively improved, fair play.
2. I have 10 and 8 year old boys, they have watched all of it and loved it, they are making their own minds up, not swayed by peer pressure or ‘bantz’.
As such I’ve watched some of it with them and once you accept it’s slower than the men’s it’s quite good.

One thing I hope to hell doesn’t happen now is that the England dickhead fans decide to get involved. That band can FO for a start, they are genuinely not needed.

We're a long way from seeing the england dickhead brigade getting involved in the women's game. Most of them will be stuck in the dark ages over women's football still, despite never playing a level above park football in their lives.

What you said about your kids is fantastic, though. As kids growing up now get older the women's game will be normalised to them, and the sexist/negative comments will reduce hugely

Lucy Bronze

:goal:

What. A. Strike.

Cracking goal.

The thing with England is that they seem disciplined. Unspectacular. Solid. Manage the game well.

I hope that doesn’t get found out.

Great tournament. Same sport, different game.

You can really see the Team ethic in play during that game, did you see the subs all get involved at half time? All clapped off the team and patted them on the back and giving them constant encouragement, to an extent I'd like to see Mens teams do something like that as well, shows a really good togetherness.

Final word goes to Lucy Bronze, what a player. She's got power, pace, composure on the ball and a great strike to top it off. World Class.

Yep loving it and I would imagine the Uk TV audience for the semi will be much greater than FA Cup, Champs league and Europa cups combined!

England were superb yesterday but they did give the ball away too easily at times but they can certainly play football when they want to.
A lot of criticism is piled on the standard of goalkeeping in the women’s game but I thought Karen Bardsley was tremendous, along with HOUGHTON, Scott, Bronze, Parris and White.
Can’t wait for Tuesday

I'm not really a thread starter, but I hope we have a match thread for the semi-final.

Just had an email fron the club offering a Season Ticket for the WFL at just £30. That has to be a bargain.
