Micky is changing the whole basis of the team. He and they will come good. Only 2 defeats from 12 games don't forget. We have a squad that should be good enough to get in the top 3 and I am still betting on 3rd this season.

Do you still keep the faith ?.

I agree we have a great squad. I am impressed with the quality of players he has attracted.
However his tactics and substitutions baffle me. He appears too negative and playing Virgo anywhere other than defence too me is crazy.
IF he starts plating people in their natural positions and makes more attacking subs rather than sitting on a one goal lead and trying to defend it then I think we will do well this year.

I LOVE the look of the squad at the moment, but the tactics and results aren't up to it.

I'm keeping the faith.New managers take time (usually) even returning ones.

It's all been an anti climax so far,and this season looks destined for another non event. Please prove me wrong.

But if we do go up,what chance survival in a higher division without a whole raft of new,non affordable ,players?

The way that Wilkins has been snapped up by another league team suggests that his stock as a manager is not high,in spite of that 7th place last time.In the end,it might as well have been 17th.

Jury out. Only 2 defeats but NO home league wins against some of the poorest sides in the division. And the manner of Micky's arrival will count against him unless he gets us in the playoffs, minimum.

He needs a season to sort it, no point changing horses now.

Spot on. When we play football and attack other sides we look a quality side, however the defensive nature and negative style that seems part of the current tactics continues to undermine much of the good work that is being achieved.

I cant say as I've got a lot of faith with what I've seen, listened to & read about so far, I was'nt expecting us to be running away with the league but I was expecting a bit better than we've had up to now.

Keep the faith we have played nine league games. We are still unbeaten away from home and have progreesed in both cups we have played in.

We were 17th in january and finished seventh last year. In this league if you win a few games you are back up there.

I find it frankly ridiculous that people are already getting on Adams' back. I was not for Adams return because I felt DW was building something, but now Adams is here he should have the 100% support of the board and supporters.

One thing he needs is time, time to change things to what he wants, and considering we won't be moving into Falmer for approx 3 years, I really don't understand why some people are so impatient and unwilling to give him time?

???

Only 2 defeats, but only 2 wins in the league - the jury's still out IMO, but ultimately I think he will replicate what happened in his first stint - an average first season then a promotion push in the second. We have too many new faces for everyone to get things right straight away - come next season I'm convinced we'll come good. I'll settle for winning the League Cup and JPTrophy this season !

seem to have gone backward since last season so i'm very much a jury out person, come Xmas hope things have improved or this season might as well be a right off and i don't think fans will be happy with that

I very much am keeping the faith, why wouldn't I or anyone else for that matter?

Adams has been in charge for 12 games, fans want success instantly but it doesn't work like that. In any new job people aren't going to be brilliant straight away, things take time. It's not going to happen yet, but it will, people need to be patient, get behind Adams and the team and performences and results will come.

you say fans want instant results but i don't think that is strictly true, progress from last season isn't really too much to ask but Adams has brought in his own players and is dismantling last seasons team without any sign of progress at all

It is true, it's completely true, people's expectations are too high. This is a NEW season and a NEW manager. Adams is here for 3 years so is thinking more long term which means it won't be great straight away, steadily you will see signs of progress.

We weren't that good last season!! Our team last year was weak, just because we got some of the results we did and got into 7th doesn't mean we were really good. In terms of squad and competing we were a world away from the likes of Carlisle and Swansea.
