Watched Worthing v Walton Casuals this afternoon, couple of cold beers prematch, Worthing, captained by Gary Elphick, played into a strong headwind in the first half, they scored early on with a cracking move, Walton preferred playing with the wind and scored twice before half time. Very decent chilli burger and fries at half time for £4.80. The sun was shining, high hopes for the second half, sadly was not to be, final score 1-2.
Woodside Road is a fairly decent place to watch a game, the standard of football belies their position in the 8th tier of English football, and the 3G pitch contributes to keeping the game moving, thoroughly recommend it if the Albion aren't playing, or are away and you want a footie fix.

I went to Woodside Road a few months back , first time in their new era and agreed. Beer was good, food very good value for money and decent quality and enjoyed the zippy 3G pitch to watch.
Both ball playing aides .

Haven't been through the whole thread but went to Bognor v Burgess Hill at the Nye Camp.

Pretty low quality given the wind but very exciting. Decided by what appeared to be a controversial penalty to Bognor in the 85th minute converted by Jason "he's on fire" Prior.
Way too far away to see if it was really a penalty but the ref was surrounded by stewards in high viz jackets at the end.....

Great win for Palace Ladies on Sunday v Lowestoft. 9-0 and still unbeaten - possibly the only team in English football? South-East Premier here we come!

Also went to this match as one of our work colleagues was playing. As for the ground its well worth a visit and the newly refurbished bar has decent beers and tv sport on a number of screens. As for the burgers the Albion could do with a lesson here. Guessing catering is not contracted out so you get real homemade burgers rather than cheap rubbish. Shame about the result though. Worthing need to maintain a top six place for the play offs.
