Fist day at the WACA for me with my Aussie wife and Aussie mates so that should be fun, smirk..... That said, last time round the Aussies had their best day of the series on the first day at the WACA when the ever erratic Mitchell Johnson went through the England team like a dose of salts, 8 wickets if I recall. Revenge shall be mine!

I remember the game well. Had just finished a 4 week trek to Everest Base Camp and watched from bed in Kathmandu. It was indeed the rare occasion that Mitch did not bowl to the right or to the left but bang on the wicket at speed. However, it was Day 2 he tore into us and he got 6-38 followed by 3-44. The morning of Day 1 we had them on 36-4 with Hughes, Ponting, Clarke and Watson back in the Pavilion before allowing them to get to 268 all out with Johnson hitting 62.

Leaving Gatwick on 30th November and doing Adelaide and Perth tests, so if there are any NSCers in either of these places Harty junior and I would appreciate some pointers re après cricket.

Gotta be worth a cheap flight to Sydney, if you've come all this way it'd be rude not to put on a decent meet up.

Can see the series being a bit closer than some think on here. I think Australia will start the series well but England to turn it on in Melbourne and Sydney. Narrow England win.

I will be at the Adelaide test.

Of course it will be, anyone who thinks we'll roll over them doesn't know anything about cricket.

We always lose at the WACA because of the conditions, I rekon 3-2 or 2-3, one test either way. Will be a great series for the spectator.

Coming over, Will be my third tour down under. Adelaide is the only test I haven't done so just doing that test this time around to keep the cost down. How much is a pint or scooner these days?

Price depends, but between $5 and $8. Nice new Oval as well.

Send all photos of you at the test in your Albion shirts to seagullsdownunder@hotmail.com and I'll add them to another supporters club album. If your heading to the MCG I'll be organising a meet up for all Albion fans on the evening of the 27th and another in Sydney (TBC)
