Yep. Completely addicted as the thing is so bloody handy, I would never check my emails as many times a day if i didn't have an iPhone!

Gotta say I love it and seem to have a little more control than some of my friends as I never got caught up in the whole Facebook thing.

Yes, ridiculously so.

In my defence, although it doesn't wash with Mrs Bozza, it's largely because of this site including the constant stream of emails and PMs as well as managing the Twitter and Facebook stuff.

Words with Friends fills the little voids of NSC activity.

Had a HTC Desire & wasn't addicted. Had this iPhone 4 for 2 months & my Mrs would say I'm addicted. I'm not as bad as some people I know. Better NSC than Fakebook anyway. Can't be arsed with Twatter either

Does anybody actually use phones for texting or calling these days? Mine has just become a portable Facebook link.

My phone package includes 250 minutes a month. I've had more than 230 minutes unused at the end of every month, generally more than 240.

I have unlimited texts but reckon I only send 10-20 a month. Most people I communicate with regularly also have an iPhone so most of those go as iMessages rather than SMS anyway.

Beyond that, the phone is probably used 4 or 5 hours a day, pretty much every day.

Its not really a phone addiction though is it...im checking emails, nsc, fb, the news, sports on phone...plus its my music center and its handy to have a camera...

Same here. Have Had mine about 3 weeks and use all the above regularly along with angry birds.

That sounds very familiar. If I'm not on Facebook I'll be playing a game or reading stuff on the internet. I can't remember the last time I actually made a call. My contract is coming up for renewal and I think I'd like about 50 minutes, 100 texts and as much data allowance as possible.

go GiffGaff - a tenner a month and it includes unlimited data.

The best thing about ditching one is battery life. I've got a £20 quid Nokia now and it lasts for days.

As I said before, must reiterate - these things are seriously anti-social. Lost count of the the times I seen a couple of mates on the train looking at their phone rather than talking to each other.

Sorry for being naive, but I've never heard of that before. I've just Googled it and it seems that for £10 you get as much internet as you want, unlimited texts and 250 minutes. Am I missing something? Surely if the deal is as simple and as attractive as that the whole country would be on it, so what's the catch?

It's O2 with a different name. Many elements of the service are scaled back - for example there's not a great deal of formal customer support - a lot is user to user stuff on their forums.

But you get full O2 network coverage and unlimited data. You can't go wrong. And I haven't since I've been using it.

I know I'm knocking on a bit, but I dont get twitter, heres a scenario, lets take number one clown and seriel twitter Richard Madeley.
He's in a restaurant having a nice quiet meal with Judy, a fan goes up to him and says" hey Richard, what colour pants have you got on today". Richard replies "piss off, I'm trying to have a nice quiet meal with the wife and I don't like being bothered by people in my spare time".
Five minutes later his iphone buzzes, mid conversation he says "sorry love its twitter I have to reply or all my friends get upset, someone wants to know what colour me kecks are today" and he twitters back, sorry, I dont wear pants because although I'm middle aged I am still trying to be cool but frankly making myself look a total arse.
This sort of behaviour from addicted phone users makes my wig spin.
