Not me - but then I don't have one.

However, recent research from Ofcom states that 60% of teenagers and 37% of adults admit to being highly addicted to their smartphones, checking them almost constantly. Is this you?

I wouldn't say that I check mine constantly, but I certainly do use it a lot, from calls and texts, emails and surfing, through to apps, games and music/podcasts.

Had one for 2 years, only used really for calls & texts and not many of either of those. Rarely use any apps any more - they were fun when they were a novelty, nothing has become an essential.

I find it quite sad people playing and checking their phones all the time.

My smartphone broke about 6 months ago and I have been using an old phone since with no internet or aps or anything and have not really had any dying urges to use it or get another smart phone.

I am also 22, and looking at my friends I am definitely in the minority not to be addicted

Yes I am.... If you cut off one of my arms it would be less painful than someone stealing my phone!

No, because I ditched it.

Know many adults who are quite obviously addicted, even checking their facebook page whilst in meetings.

Highly anti-social devices.

People who are constantly staring at their phone make my piss boil. From the downright dangerous when calling or texting whilst driving, to the stupidity of letting the phone take over their lives are they that boring that they have nothing better to do.
Today i took my daughter to swimming lessons. As usual there was a middle aged couple who spent the entite hour tapping their phones like 2 masturbating monkies at the zoo, while their daughter kept looking over to see if they were watching her and she was sad that they were not, they were both on facebook the saddos.

Yes. How can i take responsibility over this when it's clearly NSC's fault for being so addictive?
