Born upstairs in a tied cottage on a farm between Billingshurst and Wisborough Green, taken in a car load by school friends Dad in '76 and was hooked for life Moved to a council house in Dragons Green when my Dad died and we were evicted (charming i know!). Then i moved away to college in Huddersfield and eventually London via a ciruitous route and then Berkshire via work. Had the great pleasure of taking my Mum, now in her late 70's to the Amex on Friday with my youngest son making three generations of the family at the game. She listens to every game on Radio Sussex so was surprisingly well informed. She loved the Amex and the atmosphere and no doubt will want to go again despite the stairs to the WSU!

Nope. Born in Purley, heartland of Crippled Palarse. Welsh father with no interest in football but fortunately taken to the Goldstone at quite a young age by a school mate and his dad who are/were fervent Albion fans. And that was enough for me. Have never lived in Sussex, spent most of my adult life in London and now amongst the six-fingered people of Suffolk. Makes no difference - Albion is my one and only club through thick and thin.
