So then, There has been a few threads about the Rugby World Cup now, and invariably someone posts "boring or bloody egg chasers", "I hate rugby or peanut huggers" blah blah blah
So my question to the good people of NSC is
Do you like rugby or do you hate it ?
Also how many people have actually played it and I'm talking a proper game not just chucking the ball around !
For anyone who didn't know I love it just as much as football and have been playing since i was 10

Edit: ooh this my first ever poll !!!!

Voted for can't stand it, which really masks an attitude of complete and utter indifference. I grew up in West Sussex, a county almost devoid of any serious rugby outside the larger towns and public schools, it wasn't played at the school I went to until the VIth Form and thus largely passed me by. I now live just a few minutes walk from the ground of one of the top teams in the country, yet despite having been to a few international matches (purely for sporting occasion, and to see England put one over the Scots) I haven't had the urge to go to a game. Might watch the game on the box tonight, only because they have been going on all week about England not having half a fly to play with...that should be interesting!

Love it and although I'm well up for tonight's game I fully expect to us to get well beaten

Love it. I try and watch Brighton play whenever I can, but Hove is now the closest team so I wil be watching them.

I used to play at school and we got invariably dicked by Hurst, St John's Leatherhead etc. I got sin binned on my 1st XV debut for a charge tackle of the St JL's fly half, who played for England Schoolboys, I think. I gave up at Uni as I played a far more vicious sport......hockey!

Can't wait until kick off. Come on England. :ascarf:

I was heading for Sussex trials (forgot to mention that in the sporting achievement thread), but got struck down by a virus and missed a whole season. :(

We had an absolute bastard of a coach at prep school. Tony Miller! He can be seen trackside at Corals as he doubles up as a bookie.

No they don't. ???

Depends on your viewpoint. The franchise that swallowed up London Scottish and Richmond, moved out of their spiritual home, buggered off down the M4 to Reading and now call themselves London Irish obviously don't play in Sunbury. The real London Irish play in London South West Division 3, and still play in Sunbury.

Is that the same London Scottish in National 4 and Richmond in London 1?
