as a loyal opponent of the CROCS, i hope we can count on your support

Well, I guess I'm with the CROCS by default then, seeing as they're all nice people (I'm kinda hoping that my saying nice things about them, they won't hurt me too much in the next Crocs/NSC game!) :)

Well if you think back to all the chances we had against you, then we should of won.

We had an equal amount of chances, Just our strikers knew where the goal was.

jealousy is never a good thing kevin. i am disapointed and hurt by what you have done here. after all i have done for you in your footballing career, this is the thanks i get - simply because you are not good enough to beat the crocs, you turn on us

you are no longer one of my friends

Very true.

Brightonfan_86 quote:
Scott was exceptional playing in the two games, if it wasn't for him then you probably could of lost.

Kev, the crocs never got out of first gear. We have PLENTY left in the tank for the Lizards

exactly - we never really tried against you lot, and that is exactly why we need the challenge of facing a team of the experience and calibre of the lizards

What are Lizards in relation to NSC?

I know what Crocs are from the football thing, but being relatively new around here, I don't recall having heard of Lizards.

Anyone care to fill me in?

In a time long since forgotten, a league was regularly played between teams of Brighton supporters (NSC, BrightonFans.com etc).

There was always bickering, especially for the so called NSC Albion team, which were managed by Fatboy Rumble. He filled the team with ringers who hardly every posted on NSC. As such the good name of NSC was dragged through the mud.

The Lizards decided to do something about this. We were all regular posters (and mostly still are) and we created a team built on friendship, loyalty and integrity.

In the now world famous Coxy's Winter Knockout Tournament of 2003/4, we started from scratch, with odds of 50/1, ran out group winners, beating Mejona Utd 6-1 on the way.

A 5-1 semi-final win against Albion Travel put us firmly into the GRAND FINAL. In what was to be a fairytale finish we were pitted against the arch rivals 'NSC' Albion.

A HUGE whirlwind of debate and banter was had on NSC, as everyone was divided as to who was the real representatives on NSC were.

AFC LIZARD won a BRILLIANT final and were CROWNED Champions.

Soon after the game, NSC Albion disbanded forever.

THE LIZARDS represented ALL that was good about NSC.

LONG LIVE THE LIZARDS.

a moving tale - one that nearly bought a tear to my eye

i will still take great pleasure in seeing the lizards DESTROYED though, with the fairytale twist of rumble netting a last minute winner
