All this better fan bollocks is frankly quite sickening, any other teams fans browsing at this board must be laughing thier heads off at all the patheticness going on.

saw Wisbech 10-1 and Southend in 1965, and the 3 Wembley finals, Newcastle 79, Liverpool in the cup 83, Hereford,Cardif, Spurs, does not make me a super fan, but makes me damn old.....

From today's star:

Super fan Ron Durant claims to be England's No.1 football supporter after watching 2,000 games in 78 years as a season ticket holder at portsmouth. Grandfather-of-seven Ron, 90 was awarded a bottle of champagne at Fratton Park to mark his milestone.
Proud Ron, who watched his first game in 1928, said "i've been a season ticket holder since i was 12 and it's the first time i've ever been on the pitch"

also, you can only be called a true fan if you went to the Charity Shield in 1910 against Aston Villa....Seriously though, this is ridiculous....I really go have my hats off to those who go to every game, week in/week out home & away, but everybody has differnt priorities.

A guy who I work with bleeds blue & white but has not been a regular at Withdean because he plays himself on a saturday afternoon...does that make him a worse fan than me? No...

I personally would love to go to every game, but I don't see enough of my wife & kids during the week to warrant spending shed loads of cash week in week out...but that doesn't mean that I don't love this club...

There genuinely seems to be a great deal of immaturity so far as alot of the threads on this subject is concerned...Without the die-hards who go to everygame, this club would die...without those who don't go to every home game the club would die...without those who go to a home game once a month, the club would die...Basically what I'm trying to say is that as supporters of Brighton we are all as important as each other whatever role we play in supporting the albion.

That's all I have to say about that!
