I think they'll go down - which is great news because that means with Cardiff and Wolves in division 1, we're guaranteed 8 points next season before a ball is kicked.

Wolves have IMO the worst fans in the league I've come across. Not because of their hoolie side, we all have a bit of that, and some worse than Wolves, but they don't chant, ever, boo their players off at every game (even losing at half-time) no matter how well they are playing, and we gave them a proper match (unlike Sheff Utd) in the playoffs and would have pushed them to the edge if Forster had not been injured. Fair enough, they had a better squad than us, but I'd like to think that with such funds planted into the club, the likes of ourselves and yourselves would be comfortably in the Premiership rather than on the outskirts for 19 years.

Shame, because a fair few of their fans were a good bunch in the pub up there, and the ones on messageboards seem a good craic. Its just the mentality up at Molineux that spoils it for what is historically a fairly good club.

Straight back down, 6-1 defeats to Morecambe with a full first team is not good in any scenario.

A good Division One side but they won’t survive in the Premier League.

first things first... i think that we will struggle and along with fulham, leicester, leeds, pompey and bolton, we will be fighting to survive. wont put the kiss of death and say that we will stay up. am quietly confidant though.

second, forget the preseason results, even tonight we still had 4 players that are expected to be in the starting line up out recovering from end of season surgery. we still beat boavista (uefa cup semi finalists) 2-0.

third, buzza, we donated our money from the play offs to the team that lost the final (sheff utd) as has now become customary.

fourth, wilts, how many wolves matches have you been to? just wonderered as you seem to think that we have booed our team off the pitch every week last season?

finally, on a better note! good luck to you in the coming season, lets hope that only 1 albion acheives promotion!

Fair point.

I was talking about the money that the three promoted sides receive from the league. I'm assuming that the team that wins the play-offs got something (apart from the gate money). If not I apologise and I hope Wolves do well.

Brighton fans, along with Grimsby and Sheff wed, are more than a little aggrieved that the promoted sides reneged on a deal earlier in the season. Wolves may have done the honourable thing but Leicester and Pompey certainly didn't.

Anyway nothing against the fans. Hope you have a good season. (You may wish to make the most of it, like we did last season:thumbsup: )
