Sissoko was probably trying to get a reaction from Burn (already on a yellow), so well done Burn for not falling for it. I hope tonight that Harry Kane watches Burn’s slight brush of his arm against his face and is suitably embarrassed at collapsing with his head in his hands - dreadful play acting by someone who should be a role model as England’s captain. Our failure to “play the game”, cheat and con the ref ( not totally, but not as much as others) may cost us a point here or there, but I’m really happy about that so long as it doesn’t cost us our place in the premier. All of this cheating sh1t is part of the game but it saddens me when you see it permeate down to kids football.

I agree that we should appeal for things a little louder, as mentioned earlier, the Palace away penalty, for example, but i find a little off to describe us as purely noble. We have some divers on our books, and i'm no fan of that no matter the reward it sometimes gives us.
I'd rather we concentrate on making chances for our forwards, after such good possession up to the final third.

Nowt to do with us really. More to do with Spurs doing that pitifully wanky pleading to ghe referee thing. Like they're ever going to change their mind on account of your extra-pitiful pleading. Utterly pathetic and just makes the pleader look even more wanky than they looked before

They will be so embarrassed to have got those three points, still, they got three points but at least we kept our dignity.

Toby smashes the ball at a Brighton player on the floor after a foul as well.

I’ve not seen it back - but it looked like it was a dive for first Winks booking ?

And yet we're simultaneously experts at costing ourselves with daft red cards

very good point . . . .It's a ll a side of the game I despise, but to succeed at the highest level you need a bit of everything about you. A bit of Schumacher alongside your Button so to speak.

True, but There’s a difference between mastering the dark arts in a nasty way and being reckless in a nasty way.
The first gets you points (sheff Utd) , the second gets you reds (mooy/andone).

I have no problem with our players not cheating. Kane incensed me in today’s game, the flat track cheating bully. I don’t have any desire to see Albion players behaving like he did. Wanker

Shite officials and VAR.

Alli made no attempt to get the ball, in his midair charge on Webster. Kane lied yet again (and people on here think only foreign platyers are cheats). Sissoko went round looking to assault and fight Brighton players.

All brushed under the officiating carpet.

Complete and utter shyster in charge of VAR was never going to give us anything that wasn’t nailed on

Harry Winks hacks down one of our players when he’s on a yellow and not one of our players questions the referee. Harry Kane blatantly feigns injury and the same thing. Sissoko pushes Burn around and one players speaks to the ref (Maupay).
Maupay and Dunk are the only first team regulars who have the devil about them.
Some of the others are not beyond a mistimed tackle but on the whole they don’t play the dark arts. Other teams do.
We are incredibly noble and honest.
We must be a joy to officiate.
It’s costing us.

If we kicked up too much of a fuss our boyfriends might find out where we are.

Agreed.

Solly has, in the past, shown an ability to wind up the opposition and also look to the ref for support when he is subsequently hewn down. When is he due back?

AJ did it perfectly against Kyle Walker v Man City, would love to see a bit of that on Saturday.

Our lack of protesting for Montoya's penalty against Palace and Winks today is costing us. It's also bloody annoying and predictable that we give the other team chances and never really look like we'll keep a clean sheet. We concede a lot. Webster, Stephens and Ryan at fault today which was the same as Saturday. Have to beat Bournemouth. Would be lovely to beat them convincingly.

We are desperately missing some bad milk. Cruyff and Pep both worked out you couldn’t just play nice football. You need a *******.
