It does surprise me how many people slip up. The pitch being watered seems very soft.I wonder if players have enough stud.

I'm sure there are more?

Just a thought that has crossed my mind.

They were more likely the old training ground. We have a precise replica of The Amex pitch at Lancing now and the only bad injury that's happened at home games is Bong. You also have so many pitches at Lancing that we can probably get one to mimic an up coming away game if we so chose. Injuries to professional sportsmen happen, it's just a fact of life.

Even our first league game took out sharpe. Though I do suspect that was more Dunk than pitch.

It's just a thought and I'm surprised no one else has wondered it.

Yes, the chap in front of me in the family stand is always banging on about that. I think he (and you) have a point.

Have wondered this for a while.
Seems above average I think for serious injuries.
Didn't Murray do his there too?

No - not his big one, he did that in the first leg at Selhurst. One of the MANY things that gall me about that whole episode is the fact that we returned from their place with a 0-0 draw and knowing FFS would be missing.
