Could happen, and you know what, I rather think it might.

Millwall 1-2 Brighton,

Watford 0-1 Palace,

Anyone fancy Palace in an FA Cup semi-Final at Wembley? Spicy.

Doing the treble would be insane. They would never get over it.

Neither would we.

Can't imagine the Met are keen on us meeting in the semi. They struggle to deal with 2,500 visitors - imagine 35,000 + on each side descending on the same part of London. Carnage.

Sadly if we were to play them again the Albion wouldn't stand a chance...

I'd be quite happy to exit the FA Cup and not play them at all, all that matters this season is Premier League survival.

It's ok, l know l am in a minority of one.

There are two distinct obstacles to that scenario.

We have to beat Millwall.
Palace have to beat Watford.

We are getting ahead of ourselves.

I'm the same, i couldn't care less if we don't meet them in the cup - the league is more important IMO.

And normally there’d be a third - we need to be drawn against Palace in the semifinal. But, as Parish told the nation, we’re already “in the same half of the draw”.

True. I cannot see the two Manchester clubs playing each other in the semi final.

I'd prefer us to beat Millwall and Palace to get thrashed by Watford (complete with Zaha being booked for diving and crying when humiliated by a bee, again).

That, and the home humiliation by us, creating an even worse atmosphere at the club and a tail spin end to the season that sees them relegated.

We win the cup and stay up obviously.
