I mean, we won the world cup, have a stadium half full of entitled plastics, and want the manager sacked every time we play shit and lose.

Or is the latter just a few keyboard warriors on NSC, emoting after one sherbet too many?

Poll to follow.

We should be playing at least 4 of our 23 registered goalkeepers in every game.

It’s The Brighton Way.

It’s the rollercoaster of being a Brighton fan. We’re either wonderful with hotels already booked in Dublin, or we’re getting relegated in the summer, with 75% of our staff going to Chelsea.

We've never had it so good. As frustrating as today was, fact remains we are still on the crest of the wave. We're having a nightmare season for injuries, coupled with losing Adingra and Mitoma to AFCON for a month.

I doubt any manager would be able to cope with that.

Roll on Rome. At least Gilmour will be back for that.

No . . . No we're not

I was at this game, with the locals. . .

. . . . . It was sub zero that evening and some WHU were giving it large shirts off. . . .

whilst the atmosphere was spicy, the Romanians aren't that stupid. Neither are we.

That De Zerbi thread is nuts.

A few years ago it was suggested that the goal was to be a top ten team (for me there was an occasional foray into Europe, implicit in this). It seems that now we have achieved it our current bump in the road/frustrating season has been met with toys flying out of prams all over Sussex.

Personally, I am still enjoying the ride and although this season has been a bit of a disappointment (in amongst some magnificent results and a good run in Europe) I am looking forward to next season immensely (with or without European Football).

If you wife* happened to put on a blouse one morning that you considered not smashing, would wonder for a moment about the odd elements of life experience that inform taste, desire and fulfilment, and how they play a part in our pattern recognition process that guide us in small ways, or would you wait till she'd heft for work, change the locks and file for divorce?

HWT typing this in his skinny jeans accompanied with a Fred Perry polo buttoned to the neck whilst sporting a flat cap.
I was wearing my burnt ochre (yellow) away shirt with Gross 13 on the back, the one I was wearing by St Michael's Mount, Penzance, a few years ago, as Pascal score the winner at Old Trafford. And I did a little dance. (Then not last night).

The rest, though? Spot on. The flat cap is black and waterproof, and Mrs T calls it 'The Pulis'. The cap keeps the sun out of my eyes as it sets to the west.
