Are we a laughing stock at the moment?

I don't think we are even remotely a 'laughing stock'!?

We are currently in the most advantageous (buying/selling) position we have been throughout Brighton & Hove Albion's entire history and we have spent the last 12 months signing international, Premiership & Champions League players.

Yeah, who the f*** is laughing?!

TBH ... to be a laughing stock you would have to

1. Think that your recent signings which are other championship cast off's are the best thing since sliced bread although that judgement is made on 45 mins of football
2. Think your saviour is the returning captain and centrehalf who is the mesiah
or 3. To be so stupid and blind that you can't see that your defence is utter garbage because your best defender is a out supposedly injured striker

have all that and then you can be looked upon as a laughing stock

What's likely to make us a laughing stock is the OP who is quite clearly a little precious about the transfer window. Having said that, he is likely to get away with it because the only fans of other clubs that are likely to take note of his concerns are probably as equally precious about their own clubs dealings. Get a life. Watch the news ticker tomorrow and see what deals actually happen rather than spend your time worrying about every little rumour circulated by kids or mischief makers!

This thread is a laughing stock.

Do you honestly think we are still the tinpot outfit without a penny to spend like the last time we were in this league? Last season we spent 2.5 MILLION POUNDS PLUS on a striker. We have money, we have a beautiful stadium, we could have a state of the art academy on the way, believe it or not, brighton & hove albion is a brilliant prospect for prospective players now.

This is a new age, and with this new age, we have new fans who will believe any transfer rumour going. But its nothing that ALL other clubs experience, every club has its group of fans that will believe every rumour, its nothing to be embarrassed about.

I think you care too much about what others think.
