...if Adams starts retaining players like Hart and Mayo?

I reckon there is a distinct possibility this may happen.
If it does I will probably just somehow connect a bin to my letterbox to save me all the hassle of chucking my season ticket away.

We're already a joke club. Might as well just bring Mayo back and be done with it, that really would complete the Dick Knight Circus.

Disagree with that, we are no joke club.

Might be harsh now, but I think what has been done will benefit us in the coming months. All Adams is doing is stamping his authority, HE is basically making the decision rather than the manager before him. I don't see anything wrong with that. I don't believe for a minute he'll keep Hart or Mayo and very unlikely if Butters stays (as with all the back room staff I can't see that being an option).

The club may be a joke to you, but not to me!

I love this messageboard.

People thinking of a far-distant hypothesis, and on the back of that getting themselves in a stew over it.

'...if this happens, I'm gonna be so pissed off...' etc. And if/when it doesn't? Does it take all meaning from existence, and we'll all have to sit on the ground and tell sad stories until the next hypothetical situation is dreamed up?

I love this messageboard.

2) Why release players (none of which, with the greatest of respect, are going to help a team get promoted out of this league), and then two days later say you might keep some of them? Totally unprofessional and disruptive in my opinion.

To be fair, if I joined a club and we had released ten players a couple of days before a manager was sacked, I'd like to have a look at them. You'd think,''Well, if he was sacked then he must have been doing a few things wrong''. Who knows he could give Rents another chance and he could turn into a quality player. On top of the fact we all know how good Reid can be.
