I'm fearing a repeat of Burnley (H) last season. I think that was the last time I (foolishly) went into a game with any sort of over-confidence.

Now I just expect a defeat and then everything else is a bonus!
Lest we forget.

Very sobering (but was Groß, Ferguson, March, Trossard and Caicedo on the bench???).

this is how the BBC readers see it. Sutton has gone for 3-0 home win. Balls

So a team that has won one game away all season, not kept a clean sheet away from home and conceded over 30 goals in 9 away games, is playing against the top scorers in all leagues in January.

What are the odds on 0-0?
When the 10/9% tax was abolished i used to love these bets win win i thought. Lump om the fav and cover half your winnings on the outsider. Worked well till i got stung with draws.

Bmuff are the worst away team in the league. 5 points ....scored 9 conceded 31. They are pitiful away from home.

Really should be no excuses. We are not playing under potter any more.

Bournemouth have spent £50m on players this week, which is £50m more than the Albion.

Potter got our only win against them in the last 13 games.

You did what! Jesus. The bookies had Liverpool as favourites for that game, yet most BHA fans thought we should be favourites. I didn't like our confidence (I never like it) but betting on Liverpool's odds then was questionable.
Well, yes, but favourites or not, it was also (probably) the longest odds Liverpool have ever been to beat us.

Anyway, as you can see on this thread, fatalism is alive and well in many Albion fans. It was exactly because we looked like we should win, that I thought we wouldn't.
It also meant I'd definitely get something good out of the game - either 1 or 3 points for us, or a winning bet... I was VERY happy with the outcome, despite the losing bet.

As others have said, I was far more confident that we were going to beat Liverpool in the league that I am this one.

The last time I was this confident about us winning a match was away to Torquay when Zamora got the winner 1-0.

If your worried about dropping points you could go for a double chance (Bournemouth win or draw) is a nice 9/4.

Think that has to be the shortest price we've been. Looked back through last three seasons & shortest odds in each (Bet365) were:

21/22: 1.5 vs Norwich
20/21: 1.65 vs Sheff Utd
19/20: 1.66 vs Villa

Drew all three.

It's definitely the shortest and we were shorter at home to Forest than the above examples (another draw!) 1.38 right now on Betfair Exchange. I am surprised tbh, no Ali Mac, who knows whether Caicedo plays and, if so, how well and Bournemouth haven't been shy in the window. We should win of course but that is too skinny imvho.

I'm just hoping that all their expensive new signings take more than 90 minutes tomorrow to bed in. With us being minus Ally Mac, Colwill and probably Ferguson too, this is the banana skin of all banana skins.
