I am struggling...

We would probably still be a league above Crawley, I can't ever face being in the same division as a non-league Sussex club.

Hopefully we wouldn't be able to afford Barber's wages.

I said I would still go to every match. Why bother to take a season ticket until the seats become available again where we want to sit.
