BB and Gareth were standing (err sitting) with us about a row or two behind you and to your left about 6 seats.

They were in J block about 3 rows behind us and about 10 seats along.

I could see them from where we were

When Carpenter was suspended he sat in my seat and when I arrived had to ask him to move. He moved forward a couple of rows to the seat he had a ticket for. He didn't reappear for the second half so maybe the stewards threw him out.

We thought she was a birdwatcher in H Block.

What section were BrightonBird and Gareth in? There is one girl that gets us all to sit in H Block, but we are all meant to sit anyway.

I never seem to see the stewards anywhre else, but I am primarly trying to watch the football.
You and Krispies were coming out with some right crackers:lolol:

In their defense it does say that anyone sitting in the wrong seat will be ejected from the ground.

It probably does. And it's just the kind of heavy-handed disrespect for the twenty quid a head punters we've somehow come to expect and meekly accept. What it should of course say is that anyone sitting in the wrong seat will be politely asked to move to the correct seat. For f***'s sake! We've somehow ended up sort of EXPECTING to be treated like the lowest form of pond-life. Nothing personal, but I hate the IDEA of that scowling 'Respect My Authority' bull-dyke who scrutinises H Block the whole game just WAITING for some kind of petty misdemeanour so she can call down air strikes on the bad people. Only been to the MadStad once, but was completely bowled over by the respect shown to the PAYING CUSTOMERS. OK it wasn't an Albion match, it was Australia v Jamaica friendly, but the stewards, tho equally handy-looking, positively welcomed you into the ground - and even the hotel - for 'just the one'. The town of Reading really don't deserve that superb set-up. Just like the town of Brighton really don't deserve the criminalisation of Albion fans by scumbags in orange jackets. They better ditch that attitude at Falmer pronto tonto

The steward up by us is a very nice bloke. When he is not there we get an equally nice young woman.

When I was un-tieing my flag near the end of a game a couple of months back she enquired if I needed any help. I replied: "Only if you are offering to take it, wash it, iron it and then bring it back for the next game, ta". She declined.

Albion & England forever.

Shrek, who is usually in front of H block is a good laugh and takes all the banter we throw at him.

On NSC for over two decades...
I've always found the stewards to be very pleasant.

There was one lad who asked me to stop banging on the step once, but when I pointed out that there wasn't anything in the Withdean rules that said I couldn't do it, and I'd been doing it since we arrived at Withdean without complaint (or the entire South Stand collapsing  ) he left me alone.

Heres the story.......

Me and Sheebo went to get a drink at half time and while walking down the track we were pulled over by sum rude idiotic stewards who were just trying to look good. They then introduced us to the head of security at the ground who done his best to get us moved into another seat. He was very helpful but the club decided to kick me out.

I then joined SPEEDO for the second half on the hill.#

PS> It was not anybody's
