Didn't they take the piss out of us for largely doing this, primarily because "none of that matters if you're not winning games"?

Annoyingly they look much better than I thought they would. Teams at our level need that bit of luck and palace had that in spades for the last couple under hodgson. They clearly deserve more this season but it’s not gone their way. Justice pie.

The Watford result won’t have exactly cheered them up either

There is something very wrong about this thread title. You've made me feel quite unwell Bozza

As long we are allowed to punch through the PL glass ceiling first.

I got absolutely lambasted for saying this on another thread.

Palace look really good , I don't know how viera has done it?

They have also bought really well.

I think you’ve answered your own question there.
It also helps that they’ve shifted lots of old cloggers and actually attempt to win games.

Pretty much the exact comment made by one of theirs on the BBS yesterday. Xg et al.

think it was hinted in MotD they are playing better without Zaha, which is amusing.

They may not be winning but they are annoyingly better so far this season. I had no idea Viera would be able to pull off a change of style so easily. Long may their bad luck continue

They’re certainly trying to copy some of our model… but they aren’t getting youngsters in and developing them like we did - it’s alway splurge money for instant ‘success’ as everyone knows.
