There used to be another family friendly bar at the Amex in the East stand (where they used to charge £12 to get in, with a free programme) but not heard anymore about this so assume this may have been done away with due to its cost.

It was no under 18s when it opened.

Me and my son decided to give it a try in our second season at the Amex, went there early and queued for what seemed like hours to get in. When we got the the front, they asked my son how old he was. '17' he cheerfully answered :shootself

Yeah it's now part of East Stand 1901 or the players' family lounge. Basically hardly anyone ever paid to use it so didn't make the money they'd hoped. Obviously charging £48 for a family of 4 just to get into a bar wasn't the best of commercial ideas they'd had.
