And more importantly respect your elders as they know best.

Should put this into context, my Dad - the one who paid 600 quid for a rusty dinghy while going through a mid-life crisis, instead of saving up for a family holiday. That made for some fun dinner conversations.

Yes as a cheap motor-i did say £700 pound.....those TDI engines will last forever...

Cars (new) are a waste of money imho.....who cares if i smash it bash it or it gets stolen,but for £700 notes its less than a couple of months payment on a new motor..

I own it,it flys along enough it's economical...

Warranties are obviously a bad buy as is insurance.

They wouldn't offer the policies if they represented value.

Much better off taking care of your stuff.
