Mr deez said:Wouldn't my bank be less likely to offer me loans/cards/mortages etc in the future if I'd done this?
Or could they call in my overdrafts/loans etc to be paid up?
Da Man Clay said:No, doesn't show on a credit check. Not from what I remember anyway.
seagullsslimjim said:if you work for Lloyds you write to the Andover Office. They won't have any contact with your branch / department that you work in.
Ideally being bank staff you should (like me) know the penalties , but that still doesn't make them legally justifiable.
Just do it and if you worry about it don't mention to others where you work. Andover are so upto their necks in clearing claims , they won't give toss who you are.
As for you promoting your employer (Lloyds), well maybe they should promote more perks for their staff in the fees area !!
The first letter you get will be the standard "No" but then send the second template letter and the will soon offer you resolution. If you are claiming many hundreds they will make a part offer. Reject that too and threaten them with the 3rd letter template threateninbg court. They will then offer the full amount within about 14 days.
