Agree - far too nice - other fans wouldn't put up with it after 2 top 6 finishes then this shower of shite
Why not Hypia? Most of our tactical issues can be solved with common sense. If you can't do a job then don't apply for it!I don't blame Hyypia, I blame those who hired him, but that in itself gives me a dilema.
How do you voice your displeasure at a man who has chucked circa £200 million quid into the club?
Bloom goes to plenty of games, seen him on the train coming back from away games many times.
I don't know if Marx ranted but whether you agreed with him or not, he was more capable of backing up his theories than Joe Poster on these type of forums. They say all generalisations are bad, but Bozza does have a point.
Look at the demographics of Brighton, and compare us to say Blackburn when they had trouble with Steve Keane as their manager. One is a middle class, 'fairly' affluent middle class area if you include the catchment area of it support. The other has a history of working mans protest and possibly a physce of a greater willingness to voice their feelings in a more open manner.
I get people will point to history, and the movement which saved our club came from the terraces - led by a working class group of supporters. However since 1997 the shadow of Thatcherism has - on the whole - been lifted from Sussex and times are relatively good compared to Blackburn. So in the past, yes we weren't 'too nice' but since the AMEX a lot has changed at this club. Christ I remember going to Cheatersfield away and Albion fans were knocking the shite out of each other in the middle of the street in 2001.
Since 2011 we have more women, more families and on the whole we realise where we came from in 1996/97 and appreciate what we have. These new football fans / or ones who didn't go to the majority of seasons at Withdean are not your dyed in the wool working class fan, so they are used to the comfy seat padded surroundings.
What it needs is for the sizeable majority who now want Hyypia out to be led by the same or similar demographic who have led protests in the past, the middle class fans also need to step up - but it will need a spark to start this.
In short - the demographic of NSC isn't too nice, but other Albion fans who don't post on here are. However if we organise some collective action Hyypia will leave.
Just realise I've ranted like bloody Marx - and I call myself a Tory. (I'll go and sit in a dark room for a while).

He was on the train last night and asked outright would he be sacking Sami on monday ,the reply will not please the masses but its not like Mr Bloom would be that daft to say yes lads put your money on it.
Its all about opinions, but this is the biggest load of horse manure that I have read for a long time. Brighton's support comes from Whitehawk, Newhaven and places like that. That is why Brighton had the movement in the 1990's and well you cant ignore that goal posts came down. Brighton also has a vast support (like Leeds) and (like Leeds) they have a diverse support from people on the dole to the chairman of the board. I also would like to get rid of the myth that is offensive and that runs through your post, that "middle class" people are nice and "working class people" are not. The working class people I know and who have been at the Albion for generations are nothing but nice and would never rip down a goal post.
Why were they socialists?Coming from a family which lives in Whitehawk, I completely take your point. But can you not accept that the days the core support does not make up the attendance at the AMEX. For one they have been priced out of the game anyway!
I think my post accepted that in the 1990s are fans weren't too nice but there has been a shift in demographic since we moved to the AMEX.
You use the example of Leeds - right now we do yes, but it's not just a zero sum game in terms of numbers, the demographic of Leeds to an Albion fan is totally different in the post-AMEX era. I wouldn't suggest working class people are not nice at all! I would suggest that because WC people know what it's like to have less they are more willing to voice their opinions on wanting change. (That is the whole of bloody history right there).
The people who ripped down the goalposts, or who organised it were led by a Proud Working class Socialist.

What was his answer?
And everyone involved was influenced by his socialist philosophy to the extent that they decided to pull the goal posts down?He called himself one!
